Educational Visits

At Comberbach we know that educational visits enhance interest, enthusiasm and achievement for all children. We endeavour to ensure that all pupils from Nursery age up to Year 6 have the opportunity to make termly visits to the surrounding community and beyond. We take advantage of our local area and try to make use of what is available on our doorstep, e.g. Marbury Park.
All visits link closely to the curriculum and are a way of immersing the children in their topic. For example, children have visited the Museum of Science and Industry and taken part in workshops as part of a topic on light.
Children have also attended, and taken part in, the ‘Young Voices’ concert and the Cheshire Show.

Residential Visits

Residential visits are a wonderful chance for our pupils to develop teamwork skills outside of the classroom in a new environment. We encourage all pupils to take part in residential visits, and where appropriate may make additional provisions to ensure a pupil is able to attend. There are opportunities for children in year 2, year 4 and year 6 to go on a residential visit.
